Paying out of pocket

I try to make therapy as accessible as possible by working with insurance plans that help reduce the cost of care. If you have OHA, CareOregon, Premera of Washington, or other Blue Cross plans (like Anthem), feel free to reach out and I can walk you through how billing might work for you.

If you’re not covered through one of the insurance providers I accept, you can still work with me by paying directly. This can happen in a couple of ways:

  • Out-of-network coverage through your insurance provider (I recommend checking with your insurance company to see what your benefits are—some plans reimburse a portion of therapy costs even if I’m not in-network.)

  • Paying directly using a credit/debit card, HSA/FSA card, or other payment method.

If you're planning to use out-of-network benefits, I can provide you with a superbill—an itemized receipt you can submit to your insurance provider for potential reimbursement.
Note: Reimbursement is not guaranteed and depends on your specific plan.

Fees vary depending on the type of service (for example, individual therapy, couples therapy, etc.). Please feel free to reach out—I'm happy to provide details and answer any questions you might have.

I also keep a few low or no-cost therapy spots open, depending on identity, need, and availability. If cost is a barrier right now, please don’t hesitate to reach out and check in.
